EMPLOYEE RELATIONS GUIDANCE - NYC & REMOTE

The person you wish you could call when something goes wrong at work.

Quiet Ally provides employee relations guidance for organizations making high-stakes decisions and individuals navigating complex HR situations without an expert in their corner.

“Not every HR situation needs a lawyer. Not every workplace conflict needs a lawsuit. Sometimes you just need someone who gets it.”

WHAT WE DO

Guidance for both sides of the table.

Whether you’re an organization trying to get a difficult decision right, or an individual trying to figure out what just happened — we can help.

For Individuals

01

Situation Assessment

Understand what’s actually happening, what your rights are, and what your options look like — clearly, without jargon.

03

Accommodation Guidance

Navigate accommodation requests so they’re taken seriously — proper framing, documentation, and follow-through.

02

Conversation Strategy

Plan what to say (and what not to say) before the meeting that matters. Walk in with a script, not a stomachache.

04

Exit Strategy

If it’s time to go, leave on your terms. Negotiate severance, protect references, and plan your next move.

For Organizations

01

Investigation Design

Scope and structure workplace investigations that hold up — procedurally sound, properly documented, defensible.

02

Performance Calibration

Ensure performance actions are consistent, well-documented, and aligned with actual risk — not just manager frustration.

03

Accommodation Strategy

Build accommodation processes that meet legal requirements and actually work for the business. Reduce exposure, reduce friction.

04

ER Program Advisory

Strengthen your employee relations infrastructure — from documentation standards to escalation frameworks.

WHY QUIET ALLY

We’ve been in the room where these decisions get made.

Most people don’t know how employee relations decisions actually get made. They don’t know what triggers an investigation, how performance actions get calibrated, or what HR is really weighing when they say “we’ll look into it.”

We do. Because we’ve run those processes from the inside — investigations, terminations, accommodations, restructures. Now we use that knowledge to help organizations do it right and help individuals understand what’s really happening.

Not a law firm.

We provide strategic HR guidance, not legal advice. When you need a lawyer, we’ll say so.

Not corporate HR.

We don’t work for your employer. Our only obligation is to the person or organization that hired us.

Not a hotline.

We go deep. Every engagement starts with understanding the full picture before recommending a path forward.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Aidan Takhteyev

Aidan Takhteyev is the founder of Quiet Ally, a New York HR and employee relations advisory firm that works both sides of the table: individuals dealing with a difficult situation at work, and organizations trying to get a high-stakes decision right. Before Quiet Ally, he spent over 15 years as an HR and employee relations leader at Apple Inc. (US and UK), ZocDoc, and Paradigm Health.

He’s also been on the receiving end of a workplace process, not just the one running it. He got through it, and he’s clear about why: he understood how it works. Most people don’t have that advantage. He started Quiet Ally in 2025 to close that gap.

Quiet Ally is LGBTQ+-owned. Discreet, strategic, and in your corner.
